PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS
J. Michael Giglio has been involved in the criminal justice system for over eighteen years. He has worked with his clients at all levels of the system to safeguard their rights. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Covenant College and the Juris Doctor from Georgia State University. He holds memberships in the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Georgia Council of Juvenile Court Judges, the National Council of Juvenile Court Judges and the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity. He is an active member of the Lookout Mountain Bar Association, having served as Secretary, Treasurer and two terms as President of the organization. Mr. Giglio is admitted to practice before all municipal, state and federal courts in the state of Georgia. He has been granted permission to practice before the criminal courts of Tennessee. Mr. Giglio is also honored to serve as a part-time Juvenile Court Judge for Catoosa County, Georgia.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
J. Michael Giglio is a lifelong resident of North Georgia. He has been a resident of Catoosa County, Georgia, for all of his adult life. He is married to the former Greta Lynn Bumgarner and they have two teenage children, John Wesley and Jessi Elizabeth. The Giglio's are active members of the Graysville United Methodist Church, where Mr. Giglio teaches Sunday School, chairs the Worship Committee, sits on several other committees, and serves as a liturgist for services.
